Jugurtlia.--Who, Scipio? who the fortune entertains, And valour yet unseen, which in thee lives? For in it and in thee securely dwells The victory and triumph in these wars. Scipio.--Force regulated with discretion Levels the loftiest mountains to their base, And the ferocious strength of the mad hand Distorted renders what was level before.
